Temporary exhibition at the Museum of Cadaqués - "Colita. Divine Portraits"

The complicit and funny gaze of Colita, with her "divine" portraits, revives the characters who starred in the Gauche Divine, in an exhibition at the Museum of Cadaqués where you can capture the great richness and spontaneity of the photographer in capturing those unique, delicious and unrepeatable moments.

The exhibition proposed by the Joan Vehí Foundation and curated by Anna Maio, received a great reception from the public last Saturday, July 19 at its inauguration, there were many Cadaquesencs and visitors who did not want to miss the presentation made by her curator, who recalled many of the anecdotes lived together with Colita, because Anna Maio already in the early 70s directed with great success one of the first and most controversial exhibitions of Colita.

Isabel Steva, better known as Colita was a determined and direct woman, an undisputed portrait professional with a strong personality and a great sense of humor. It was her father who gave her the famous nickname when he told her that she had been found under a cabbage.

The exhibition "Colita, Divine Portraits" can be seen at the Museum of Cadaqués until the first days of January 2026.
