The archive

The archive of the Fundació Joan Vehí includes all his photographs: almost 100,000 negatives and about 13,000 slides. Due to Joan Vehí and his work and involvement in the conservation and dissemination of the history of Cadaqués has also received donations from friends, family, acquaintances and visitors who have expanded their personal archive to also have 590 glass plates (most of Cadaqués' images between 1890 and 1920), 600 cameras (the oldest from 1864) and 800 film posters.
