The Archive

The Joan Vehí Foundation archive includes all its photographs: almost 100,000 negatives and about 13,000 slides. Due to Joan Vehí's fondness for photography and her work and involvement in the conservation and dissemination of the history of Cadaqués, she has also received donations from friends, family, acquaintances and visitors who have expanded her personal archive to have also 590 glass plates (most of Cadaqués of images between 1890 and 1920), 600 cameras (the oldest in 1864) and 800 cinema posters.
